- Test several real screen widths
- Look for fixed dimensions and overflowing content
- Review device-specific Elementor settings
Locate the element causing overflow
Inspect several phone and tablet widths, not one preview. A fixed-width widget, image, nested container, or heading can push the page sideways. Identify that element rather than hiding horizontal overflow across the whole document.
Repair the responsive component
Adjust Elementor's breakpoint settings or targeted CSS and compare the result with desktop. Check menus, forms, spacing, and sticky actions after the change. A title may fit one phone width yet clip on another.
Check customer tasks
Follow the path from the landing screen to a service page and contact action using touch. A layout is repaired when visitors can read and act, not simply when a screenshot looks centered.
Will changing the theme solve it?
Not necessarily. The problem may be in a page template or widget and can survive a broad theme change.
