Test real service pages on a mobile connection. Server response, large media, plugin processing, scripts, and database queries can all contribute. The owner may see a cached version that hides the delay a new visitor experiences.
Prioritize the largest verified delay
Optimize heavy images, reduce unnecessary requests, review cache behavior, and inspect plugin or database work. Hosting capacity should be judged by measurements, not assumed from the monthly plan name.
Recheck customer tasks
Compare the same pages under similar conditions, including forms and any logged-in workflows. A faster score does not help if useful content or a booking feature was removed.
Will an optimization plugin fix everything?
No. It cannot repair poor server response, oversized media, or a slow third-party service by itself.
